You are a guest wandering through a haunted Regency-era mansion in search of the fabled
Duke’s Mask — an artifact said to reveal the truth behind the Duke’s disappearance.
Explore each room, gather clues, avoid wandering ghosts, and use your candlelight to survive the darkness.

W, A, S, D — Alternative movement
R (Ctrl+R) — Debug: Skip rooms
Objectives
Collect Keys to unlock the next rooms.
Gather Candles to increase your visibility in the dark mansion.
Find Clues that reveal the location of the Duke’s Mask.
When you have enough clues, the Mask will appear in the Ballroom.
Beware of Ghosts
Mysterious shadow-ghosts wander the halls. If they touch you, you lose a life.
You start with 3 lives.
After taking damage, you become briefly invulnerable.
If you lose all lives, it's Game Over.
Rooms & Progression
The mansion has three main rooms:
Main Hall — Collect a key to move forward.
Library — Gather clues and candles.
Ballroom — The Mask will appear when you have enough clues.
Move to the right side of a room to unlock the next door (if you have a key).
Winning
Find the Duke’s Mask in the Ballroom to win the game and uncover the mansion’s final secret.
